This EDISA group is made up of both new and experienced researchers from different areas of knowledge, but with a common objective: to promote health through preventive education and create technological systems with artificial intelligence that help professionals carry out their work. In this sense, the self-evaluation of the group in recent years is very remarkable.
On the quality of the production and scientific productivity of the group: Publications in JCR: 6 in 2018, 9 in 2019, 12 in 2020, 19 in 2021, and 22 in 2022. In addition, in the last 3 years the group has published 8 SJR articles from different quartiles. A book has been published in 2020 by SPI editorial (Málaga Provincial Council) on active aging by 4 members of the group.
The external financing received by the group is diverse. Currently, 3 research projects have been requested in various fields, we are at the culmination of a National R&D Project and another on equipment, together with contracts with private entities and Article 83 contracts by the OTRI and other companies together with educational innovation projects, totaling more than €900,000.
Regarding the transfer of Technology and Knowledge, the group already has its first invention protected as an Intellectual Property Registry, the result of some of the group's innovation projects, and it has another Intellectual Property Registry in process, although this has not been financed. from the University, but from a private company (it has 50% of the patent, but the IP of the group is the main inventor of the system, and therefore, the University of Granada). In addition, researchers have been trained, with more than 10 doctors in the last 4 years, currently 4 in process. Of the 30 PhDs that have been directed in the total number of years, 5 are currently University professors, and the rest are mostly as teachers in Primary and Secondary Education. Finally, the group has directed more than 150 TFG and TFM, which confirms the transfer of knowledge.
